Haiti Update – Day 4

It’s about 7 am on day 4. Our pharmacy is in process of inventory after seeing approximately 700 patients in 2 days. We took a collection from the team last night and will attempt to purchase some more meds from a local pharmacy. Today our dentist is returning to the Mirebalais church to finish up with a few stragglers and do some follow up exams to make sure no infections are setting in. The rest if the team will visit a local orphanage and its surrounding community. Our pediatricians will examine each of the children (parasites, worms, sores, etc.) and the other doctors will treat anyone else who needs us. We expect to see about 50 children and 50 adults. Later in the day we will return to the guest house and examine and treat all the workers (and their families) who have been building the GCA guest house. Please pray that we can find anti-parasite meds and more children’s antibiotics. Tomorrow we will worship at the church in Mirebalais with the community we’ve been serving. I cannot wait. All glory to the King.
