World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. This past month two of Crossbridge’s very own Jessica Luo and Jorge Reynardus participated with Team World Vision in the Chicago marathon. With challenging weather, battling muscle cramps for nearly twelve miles and perfecting the penguin hobble nearing the finish line Jessica said,
“I finished smiling knowing that this effort was going to children in need. I can’t wait to do it again”.
Crossbridge this is your chance to get involved and participate with Jessica in the Miami ING marathon coming January of 2013. Official training begins Saturday Nov. 4th as you can decide to run the half or full race in support of clean water projects in Haiti. There will be sign-ups at both Pinecrest and Brickell locations immediately following each service. For more information on training site locations or any questions about registration please contact Crossbridge Team Captain Jeff Hartsook at jhzook@aol.com and remember that we can all make a difference!!
So proud of these two! Congrats guys!
