Our service project is for a women’s health clinic in Recife, Brazil.  We will be collecting prenatal vitamins, folic acid, and DHA to benefit the expectant moms. Crossbridge will be starting its second location in Brickell at (Immanuel Lutheran Church) 1770 Brickell Avenue – Miami, FL 33129 @  6:00 p.m, this Sunday, April 4, 2010. We are seeking to duplicate the DNA of Crossbridge as best we can to see God do in other locations what we have seen Him do in our main Pinecrest location already in our short 18 month of existence. For this reason, on resurrection Sunday we are taking a big step towards Brickell’s spiritual resurrection as well, so come be a part of it! Invite friends, co-workers, family and neighbors to celebrate with us this “historic” day, for us and Miami

If you can’t attend for one reason or another there are a few things you can do to help this be a successful launch.

1. You can still invite and get the word out by forwarding this email, by using your facebook and twitter accounts and, by picking-up the phone and calling to invite your friends, co-workers, family and neighbors.

2. You can pray for it. Take one minute to pray for our staff, volunteers and those who live on Brickell that are in need of Jesus. Pray that our staff would have spiritual and physical strength to work week after week and pray that lives in Brickell will be transformed by the power of the Gospel.

We are proud to announce the launch of a new Crossbridge location. Crossbridge Brickell has become a reality after much prayer and determination to bring the gospel to a much needed area of Miami. If you’re interested in being a part of this new venture in any way here are some suggestions:

1. Pray – Commit yourself to pray daily for our launch and ministry there.
2. Connect – Help us to connect to your friends, co-workers and neighbors that live in the nearby area. Moreover, help us to spread the invite through your social networks (twitter, facebook etc)
3. Volunteer – We will need about a dozen volunteers weekly to make things happen smoothly. If you worship at our main campus in Pinecrest, you might want to consider volunteering in the evening.

New Location will be at 1770 Brickell Ave.

Launch will be April 4, 2010 | 6:00 P.M.

March 23-35, Tim Keller together with the Redeemer City to City staff will be at Crossbridge Church, leading a discussion with 100+ church planters and leaders about the formation of a North American network of urban gospel-centered churches. To ensure a smooth event, we are in need of 20-30 volunteers to help set things up during the mornings and afternoons of those dates. If you’re available and interested in serving on this specific event, contact Sam Miranda.

Due the awesome growth we’ve experienced this year, we have been propelled to care even more for some very specific needs in our church such as Children and Youth ministries, the launch of a downtown worship service, and our ever-growing worship & arts ministry. These needs will require an additional budget increase of 140 thousand dollars (something we were not able to predict last year). For this reason, on Saturday night Feb 20th we will be holding a fundraiser dinner for 2010 at the Reynardus’ home. YOU flows naturally and intentionally out of our discipleship process (awaken, experience, touch), and finds its true purpose and goal in what we do every week, which is to tattoo on hearts, souls and minds a heavenward attitude that deeply understands and is able to say,“From YOU, and through YOU and to YOU are all things” (Romans 11:33-36). Hence the project’s title, as every cut on this album speaks directly to God. From every song a straight line could be drawn to the over-arching Scripture text in Romans that really inspired it all.
