Volunteers needed | March 23-25
[ March 23, 2010 to March 25, 2010. ] March 23-35, Tim Keller together with the Redeemer City to City staff will be at Crossbridge Church, leading a discussion with 100+ church planters and leaders about the formation of a North American network of urban gospel-centered churches. To ensure a smooth event, we are in need of 20-30 volunteers…

Marriage has the power to challenge our virtues at the same time that it magnifies our weaknesses. Once married we learn that for the first time in our lives we can’t hide nor avoid being who we are. For once, our true self comes to the surface — we are finally exposed. If we allow it to serve its purpose, marriage can be a journey to move our true self towards our radiant self. EMERGENCY CALL: Haiti Relief Effort
Crossbridge is partnering with GCA (Great Commission Alliance – www.gcanet.org) to send monetary gifts, non-perishable items and bottled water to Haiti next week. This is the time to really come along and make a huge diference!

Budget 2010: Fundraiser Campaign
[ February 20, 2010; ] Due the awesome growth we’ve experienced this year, we have been propelled to care even more for some very specific needs in our church such as Children and Youth ministries, the launch of a downtown worship service, and our ever-growing worship & arts ministry. “Stories, Sights & Sounds of Christmas” is our version of the traditional Carols & Readings Eve service. The service starts at 6:00 P.M and it goes for 45-50 minutes. Childcare is provided. Make sure to come and bring family and friends.

It is our desire at Crossbridge to have a large and strong operating diaconal force. We believe that God has called both men and women to serve the local church and flood our city with mercy and justice. Community groups meet for community, discipleship and serving projects throughout the city. They function as a natural connection point for those new to crossbridge, and facilitate the missional pathway in our church to Christian discipleship.

The reason I think we don’t often thank God for who He is because we have failed to thank Him for what He has done, and because we have failed to thank Him for what he has done its hard to thank Him for what He is already doing and will continue to do — That’s where we’re headed with this year’s Thanksgiving-Sunday’s.
UP!: MovieNight
[ November 13, 2009; 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. ] Come watch a movie with the family and help out a good cause! We will be watching it under the stars on the rooftop terrace of the Blanco family home. Our Crossbridge Community Group is showing this movie as a fundraiser for Urban Resurrection (www.urbanresurrection.org), which is a Christian community development ministry in the West Grove.
