We simply cannot love one another as Jesus commanded, or prove to the world that he is sent from the Father, if our lives only overlap in 15-minute fragments before and after programmed Christian events. Rather the gospel calls us to life together, to the weaving of the fabric and moments of our lives, so the expression of the kingdom becomes a reality in our midst, rather than a theology in our heads.
For crossbridge, these medium sized (12-15 people) community best facilitate and move us towards this common life together.
There’s really no other way to fully be engaged in the life and mission of crossbridge except through community groups. It’s in the context of these communities that you’ll grow spiritually through studying Scripture; care for others and be cared for, and you’ll make an impact, giving your life away by serving side-by-side in urban environments with your cg. The community groups are the first connecting points for people to find community and spiritual discipleship.
